Rachael has been practising yoga for over 20 years and teaching for more than a decade. Initially drawn to yoga to manage stress from her career as a speech and language therapist, she quickly discovered its transformative impact on both body and mind, supporting her through life’s challenges and three pregnancies.
After completing her 200-hour training at Camyoga in Cambridge, Rachael deepened her practice with Vinyasa Flow training under Claire Missingham, followed by additional certifications in Pregnancy, Baby, Restorative, Yin, and Children’s Yoga.
Her teaching focuses on a holistic and intentional approach, prioritising the mind-body-spirit connection and providing students with tools for wellbeing that extend beyond the mat. She incorporates essential oils into her classes for a nurturing, multi-sensory experience.
Rachael mentors aspiring yoga teachers through Barefoot Body and is a proud Ambassador for Sweaty Betty. She’s currently exploring her love of music by learning to play the harmonium.
